Eight years ago, we brought home our very first rabbits with nothing more than a book from the hardware store and a few tips from the kind man who sold them to us. Luckily, that man turned out to be a true mentor—he taught us how to tattoo, how to show, how to breed, and was always available to answer our frantic questions. He gave us real, hands-on advice that no book could quite offer.

But after that? We were on our own.

And the truth? We made just about every mistake in the book—and quite a few that weren’t in any book. We had aggressive rabbits we didn’t know how to handle. We lost whole litters to mysterious causes. We panicked over GI stasis, bloat, and clipped toenails too short. We figured it out through trial and error, YouTube spirals, and late-night rabbit forum scrolls.

Over time, we found our rhythm.

We learned how to calm rabbits down, how to use homeopathics safely and effectively, and how to build a natural, thriving rabbitry. We’ve now raised dozens of healthy litters and supported other breeders and new owners as they begin their own journeys. And through it all, one thing became crystal clear:
